When you book a room at Djursholms Castle, you accept the terms and conditions listed below.

What does it cost to hire the venue?

Contact us for prices for hiring a room and the cover cost per guest (glassware, china, silverware, linen and cleaning is included). You will receive a bill for the total cost of hire after your event has taken place.

How do we book the venue?

When you contact us and book a date for your event, we can make a preliminary booking for three weeks at the most. We will send you a contract to your home address and you can return a signed copy to us. Your booking is confirmed once you receive a signed contract in return from us.

How do we book catering and serving staff?

Our local partners will help you arrange catering and book serving staff. You can choose one of the following caterers:

May we bring our own drink and alcohol?

Yes, you may bring your own drinks and alcohol to your event.

What equipment is available?

Projector, screen and whiteboard is is included in the venue cost if you rent Banérsalen. For an additional fee, you may rent our sound equpiment which includes mixer board, wired and wireless microphones and loudspeakers. Sound equipment suitable for outdoor use may be rented for 1200 kr.

Is the venue accessible for people with disabilites?

Yes, the venues are accessible. You can enter the castle using the lift for the disabled, at the rear side of the castle. Inside the castle, there is a lift to the first floor where the kitchen and rooms are located. There are low thresholds. There is a WC suitable for the disabled on the ground floor.

For how long may we use the venue?

When you book a conference or meeting we agree on a time. For bookings during evenings and weekends, the venue is at your disposal until 2.30 am. Music and dance must however cease at 1 am in order not to disturb the neighbours. You may bring drinks and alcohol to the castle on the day before your event. If your event occurs during the weekend, you need to book a time with the caterer for entrance to the castle.

Useful information

  • You must be age 25 to rent a hall/room in Djursholms Castle.
  • The rooms cannot be booked for student parties.
  • The bar must be closed by 1 am.
  • The castle is not available for bookings during Christmas Eve/Day or Boxing Day, New Year´s Eve/Day or Midsummer's Eve/Day. The venue is not available for booking during July.
  • Sound equipment is available for rent, but not included in the venue cost.
